Friends and Comrades in music!
I just happened to hear the beautiful voice of Meera Manohar this week. She has got a very good voice and I wish if I knew her before planning Blogswara. Anyways, as it will be a continued process, she has agreed to be a part of it in the next version of Blogswara.
She’s also part of a group called “Thillana“. She had been with that group for almost 6 years now. She says “it’s got amazing talent, Mux- who has won the best composers award in the US, Ragavan- who is Dr. BalaMuralikrishna’s disciple being just a few of our stalwarts”.

I am not able to listen to Meera’s songs.!! The system saves it as a .rm file and then when I play it just sits there.!!

I’ve heard this group ‘Thillana’ perform a few months back in the Bay area.
I remember I told you about them.
Fantastic is not the word.! I love them so much, I even bought ‘Mux’s’ CD, which is quite good.
Didn’t know about Meera though, until you wrote about her. Thanks for that.
Happy to note that she’ll be in the next efforts of Blogswara.!

Hey Narayan Venkitu,
Thanks for making it to Thillana’s show a couple of months ago. Thillana has been flourishing thanks to the wonderful support from fans like U.
Yes, Mux’s CD is indeed very good, and needless to say he’s the backbone of Thillana (-;
As to my voice recordings, I am so sorry you couldn’t hear them. Known to me, I have not heard anyone having a problem. Have you tried installing the latest version of realplayer and also the plug ins if any??
Just a suggestion… Do let me know if/when you hear them!

I am very glad to see you write about Meera and Thillana. It’s a wonderful group, with some really good and diverse talents. And beyond the music, with their shows they have raised about $100,000 for charitable causes in India.
